Breach of Temporary (Interim) Protection Order / Protection Order / Domestic Violence Order (DVO)

Breaching a Temporary (Interim) Protection Order / Temporary (Interim) Domestic Violence Order (DVO) or Protection Order / Domestic Violence Order (DVO), no matter how innocent or trivial the breach may seem to you or how justified you may feel in doing so, is a Criminal Offence.

The Court views any breach of a Temporary (Interim) Protection Order / Temporary (Interim) Domestic Violence Order (DVO) or Protection Order / Domestic Violence Order (DVO) very seriously.  Significant penalties, including imprisonment may be issued in such instances.
